Following the passing of Hollywood legend Michael Madsen on July 3, 2025, the highly anticipated documentary AMERICAN BADASS is set for release on July 10th . More than just a biopic, the film serves as a powerful tribute to the life, career, and lasting legacy of one of cinema’s most unforgettable icons.
AMERICAN BADASS offers an intimate and raw portrait of Madsen through exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and rare archives featuring testimonials from some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Quentin Tarantino, John Travolta, Daryl Hannah, and many others who shared the screen and life with the actor.
Michael Madsen, known for his iconic roles in Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, and Donnie Brasco, was deeply involved in the development of the documentary. He was passionate about sharing his story in his own words, and wished for the film to be released in summer 2025. His sudden passing gives this release even greater emotional weight, honoring a man who defined the spirit of rebellion, poetry, and authenticity in American cinema.
